 | | Click image for larger view. | The Gift Management module of IMPACT allows you to establish one or more pledges by any patron for any number of campaigns. You can easily record payments against these pledges, track the progress of each pledge, print appropriate pledge reports, and inquire into pledge information.
For a pledge, you establish a beginning date, the number of installments, the installment amount, and the frequency. As an example, on January 15, 2005, a patron may pledge to pay you a total of $1,200.00 at $100.00 per month for one year, with the first payment due on March 1, 2005.
You can view the status of all pledge information online, including the total amount pledged, the total amount paid, the total balance due, as well as every payment made against the pledge. Also available, based on today's date, is the current scheduled due, and the current balance due. You can also have IMPACT automatically calculate the amount due as of a future date.
A Gift Status Report allows you to summarize all gift pledge information for easy analysis. You can include all of your gift information, or just gift information for a particular campaign. You can easily determine which patrons are current with their payments, and which are past due. In addition, the Inquiry/Mail part of IMPACT allows you to select patrons based upon their pledge information and via Microsoft Word, write thank you letters for new pledges or reminder letters for past due pledges.
