Features: Financial Management
Financial management is part of the IMPACT BASE module. It includes the ability to record patron payments for memberships, pledges, and events, enter donations, and record the purchase of services and products. It allows you to batch your financial transactions, particularly payments and donations, so that you can easily match your cash receipts to the bank deposit. It also provides a set of standard financial reports, and the ability to inquire into financial information.
Financial information may be viewed online by batch, or it may be viewed online by patron. Either view is based on a user selected date range. If you view information by batch, an automatic batch balancing feature is in effect which compares your batch balance to the sum of the transactions.
An interface to QuickBooks is available to easily, with the click of a button, create a file in a format compatible with the input of QuickBooks.
Several standard financial reports allow you to print financial activity by batch, by batch date, by transaction date, or by the source of the transaction. This last report is valuable for tracking the financial transactions to the source campaign, appeal, or other activity.
Similar to the other modules, the Inquiry/Mail part of IMPACT allows you a comprehensive inquiry capability to analyze all financial information and if desired, export this information to Microsoft Word in order to create and write thank you letters, print labels, or generate other correspondence.

A Testimonial from Andy Peara
"IMPACT is a very powerful database for organizing a nonprofit's mailings, membership, activity registration, fundraising, accounts receivable, and more. The developer is very responsive to questions and has been committed to adapting the system to our organization's needs -- what's more he's great fun to work with."
