We've spent literally thousands of hours developing IMPACT and believe it to be an excellent application that will return your purchase cost many times over.
What do you need to consider?First, the purchase cost of this application is minor when compared to cost of hardware, system software, and staff training. You will need computer equipment (PC compatible) and system software (e.g. Windows, Microsoft Access, File Maker Pro, custom design, etc.). Be sure to consider the usually underestimated cost of learning the application, converting your data, training your employees/volunteers, and extracting useful information. If an application is described as free, remember that the application cost is but a minor part of the entire cost. If you believe that your time is valuable, and should be spent completing your mission, then we encourage you to analyze the "true" costs of an application before you purchase. Again, you may want to enlist some help. There are many consultants and nonprofit organizations that can assist you with these types of analyses and decisions.
Second, the real value of an application is not in its cost, but in its benefit. You need to have an application that is easy to install, easy to use, user friendly, and easily provides the type of data you need to effectively run your organization and complete your mission. We believe that IMPACT is an excellent answer for you. If you have any questions about the cost of IMPACT, please give us a call.
Purchase and Rate SummaryTo support organizations of varying size, the cost of an IMPACT license is scaled based on the modules you select and the size of your organization's annual budget. The following table details the license cost for the five tiers of annual budgets for each of the available modules. This price also includes four hours of installation services.
The consulting rate for additional installation services or for conversion services is also based on the size of your organization's annual budget and is also listed below.
You may want to read the IMPACT installation contract for additional details and/or the IMPACT conversion contract for conversion estimates.

This entitles you to all future versions/releases that include fixes, enhancements, and upgrades to the IMPACT application.
Note 2: Phone consulting is based on the consulting rate, rounded up to the next 6 minutes (1/10 of an hour), with a minimum of 12 minutes (2/10 of an hour).
Note 3: Travel time applies only to contracted items (not upgrades), and is charged at 1/2 the listed consulting rate.

A Testimonial from Tom Olbrich
"We have found IMPACT easy to use. Upon installation, we immediately began entering and tracking many different components of our business. It provides a great history of all activities, makes reporting easy, and allows for several different approaches to organizing and reporting. All in all, it is a great tool for inputting, tracking, and maintaining all of our patron’s information and gave us an inexpensive boost to taking our small nonprofit to the next level organization."
